Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is ready to finish off November and start December strong! It was a busy week for the North Tustin housing market, here is a rundown of what happened for the week ending 11/29/15.
With the holiday it was a little slower in North Tustin with only 3 homes going into escrow last week. All were priced under $1,000,000 and had done significant price reductions prior to accepting an offer.
And finally there were 7 homes that closed escrow last week. The lowest priced home was sold for $662,500 and the highest priced sale was $1,249,000 and the average priced sale was $851,486. All homes that sold right near their original list price sold quickly while the majority of homes who tried to "test the market" sat and had to do significant price reductions. Pricing is a very important component of listing your home. If you price your home too high in the beginning you very well might end up getting less in the end!
