For the week ending February 8 2015 there were 38 homes listed for sale in Huntington Beach. Of that 24 were single family homes with an average price of $1,130,254. The lowest priced single family home listed last week was 16881 B Ln. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home has 1159 square feet and was priced at $449,000. The highest priced home listed last week was 16361 Maruffa Cr and is located in Huntington Harbor. This 5 bedroom 6 bath 4200 square foot tuscan home was fully remodeled in 2012 and offers 90' of water frontage with a dock large enough for a 78' vessel. The average price of a condo or townhome listed last week was $473,953 with the lowest price being a 1 bedroom 1 bath short sale auction at 6600 Warner Ave #243. The highest priced townhouse listed for sale last week is in Broadmoor in Huntington Harbor. This 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home is 1750 square feet and is beautifully remodeled throughout.
Last week there were actually 21 homes that closed escrow. Of that all but 4 had price reductions with an average days on market of over 3 months! We couldn't have asked for a better realtor! My girlfriend and I moved to SoCal from New York City and had very little exposure to this side of the country. On my first call with David (I found him on Yelp!), he asked a few detailed questions regarding our expectations and then gave a great overview of the various areas/cities in Orange County that would be a fit for us.
