The data from home sales for the month of January came out today and it continues to show soft prices for homes in Coastal Orange County. The median price of a single family home in Coastal Orange County came down for the month of January and the average days on market rose from 86 to 95 days. In addition the number of homes on the market did increase by 3% from the month of December. All in all the data is still telling us this is a buyers market right now. Homes that are priced correctly are selling and sellers priced for top dollar are sitting for a while. It is of note that December and January are typically the slowest months of the year for home sales and most economic forecasts show Orange County home prices rising by a modest (5%-10%) in 2015.

What crazy & wild ride we had and David was by our side the whole time! My wife and I purchased our first home and closed on Dec 31st 2013. During our process we visited countless homes and made a few offers creating a true journey through the Huntington Beach & Costa Mesa province. David was there the whole way showing up with short notice and getting comparable pricing in the local neighborhood so we could make a better decision for the purchase of our home. Although he is not superman he could be a close second to the Great American Hero! Well informed and easy to communicate with; I would recommend David to friends and family for sure. After we closed on our home we began to receive a monthly subscription to David's friendly neighborhood publication. My wife uses the recipes when she makes dinner in her new kitchen. Thanks David keep up the good work! - Ryan B.
